Here are a couple of the photos I took this week of Ruby ...

The background hasn't come out completely white ... particularly bottom right hand corner which could be sorted in Photoshop I guess.

G'day guys - sitting here in a cabin in Batemans bay and just adding photo's onto my site and I thought I'd log onto the shutterbugs websitre - love your photos Sam, you say it's not white but I think they look great, much better than the ones I've captured.

I've added on two of mine, although Bridget not paticulary happy with them, I've also added some photos from holiday, hope you don't mind. I came across a blow hole in the sea and it meant trying to wait for the best wave and then gettng the right shutterspeed. I've posted them as well, haven't picassed them yet, so they are exactly what I saw.

Let me know what you think - hope your all ok, enjoy your last night of the class

Louise

Nice work there Sam, love the last shot. As you say the best way to get the background correct is to take into photoshop to finish the editing. Looks like if this back lights had been set slightly lower the problem would not have happened.

Good to hear from you Louise, hope you are both having a fantastic time. Great blow hole shots.

Think maybe your white balance on the studio shots looks a bit off, but a bit of picasa and it would sort that out, good try.
